Here’s everything I didn’t like about iOS 16 that I hope Apple fixes in the future.
There is very little space for widgets on the lock screen. This means a lot to me. For now, there is a single horizontal bar for widgets on the lock screen. As a result, I found myself having to choose between four widgets under the clock, or constantly switching between different lock screens. I’m not saying Apple should fill the lock screen with gadgets, but I think a second row would help a lot.

There needs to be an easy way to change lock screens. Speaking of multiple lock screens: I wish it was easy to manually switch between multiple lock screens during the day and you can quickly switch faces on the Apple Watch. Maybe the two-finger swipe gesture will help.
Apply custom lock screen colors to all fonts on the lock screen. Another limitation in a well-considered category. Custom lock screen colors do not affect text or icons on the iPhone toolbar. I know that there are millions of people who choose a color-font combination more often than previously thought.
OK for them. But those colors don’t apply to the status bar and are mistaken for other elements of the lock screen and those parts of the lock screen don’t look right. I hope Apple fixes this.
