Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker 4k Blu Ray – There was never a picture on the screen in the theater. I remember thinking that while watching it in the theater, but it didn’t happen. I believe that might have been the original intention of the script but it didn’t happen.
Was the home video release changed from the theatrical version? I could have sworn that all of Jed’s past appeared on screen in one climactic moment. On the disc, you hear their voices as Ray lies on the ground after confronting the Emperor, but there is no image. As she buries the lightsaber, Luke and Leia appear before her, but it’s not what I thought.

You must think of one of the YouTube edits (most of them add it to the scene at the end, but some also add it to the scene you are referring to, personally (But I think the YouTube edits were not as good as it was in the movie and it took away its power and magic, making it too busy, less moving).

The movie never showed them, you just heard their voices from specific places in the theater, very cool, powerful and dynamic effect and scene.

Personally, I still think it depends on the scene. It also takes some focus away from Rey (and the Emperor). And it only collects a few Jedi from all the past Jedi to show that you are standing there, which does not fit when you get to that part of the scene. Sounds like instant fan service that doesn’t make much sense and undermines the real impact.

When are they going to re-release Rise of Skywalker with matching cover art to go with the other movies?
Got an Amazon PM worth WM…surprisingly came with a slip shrink wrapped around it so it was in pretty decent shape.
But of course since Disney insists on stacked discs, there are two visible scratches. When does Disney learn? Any money they could potentially save by using these cases (which I’m not sure if the cases even need to be made and purchased) is destroying the existing defective copies when people return them. Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker 4k Blu Ray Review
Well, as most of you know by now, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters tonight. My wife, brother, and I will join our old friend Robert Meyer Burnett and his family for the first show at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, where it all began in 1977. Having just seen the press screening of the film on Tuesday, we are looking forward to seeing it again in the IMAX laser projection. As a result, today’s post will be short.
However… we have some more details for you about the recently revealed Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga 4K / Blu-ray box set which is now coming out on 3/31/2020.
Not only will it include all 9 “Skywalker” movies on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc, but each movie will include a bonus disc of extras (for a total of 27 discs). It’s fair to assume that almost anything previously released for each of these films is fair game to be included on these bonus discs in terms of special features, and it’s likely that there will be new features as well. But of course we won’t know until the set is officially announced. [Read here…]
One thing is certain, though: this set probably won’t include the original, unedited versions of the classic films. Director JJ Abrams was recently interviewed during the press junkets for the new film and revealed that he tried to get Lucasfilm to release it but he refused. Disney may have a handshake agreement with George Lucas not to do this. At least it’s nice to know that Abrams tried to do it.

In any case, we know that Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in deluxe packaging will be a Best Buy exclusive release – that’s the packaging we showed you yesterday. We also now know that there will be a wide release of The Skywalker Saga on Blu-ray and DVD (18 discs each) based on Amazon.co.uk and Zavvi retail leaks in the UK.
What we don’t know yet is this: will the regular 4K/Blu-Ray box set version be in wide release in the US, or will Best Buy have the box exclusive and all movies as 4K Ultra HD/ will be available on Blu-ray Singles, as is the case with the MCU Infinity Saga titles.
If I had to guess, I would guess that there will be special and wide release versions of the box set, just with different packaging, and that the movies will also be available as singles. And I would be very surprised if the bonus discs were exclusive to the box set. But again, we won’t know until either the studio officially announces a release, or retailers here in the States start leaking more details.
In any case, the cover artwork you see above left has been making the rounds on social media, so it’s legit. I’ve included it here just because, but be aware that it may or may not be the final cover artwork for the wide release version of the set.

As you know.]Now then… we hope that all of you who still appreciate Star Wars will soon watch the new movie spoiler free and we sure hope you enjoy it! As I said on Tuesday, my brother and I had a good time with it. Keep your expectations reasonable and don’t expect Lawrence of Arabia, but my personal opinion is that this is the best conclusion of the Star Wars saga that we can expect after the previous sequels. I think this movie is better because of Rian Johnson’s casting in The Last Jedi, whatever people think of that movie. And John Williams surpassed himself with the score. So have a good time and enjoy!
