If you’re familiar with the Note 7 camera setup, you already know what the Galaxy S7/S7 will do for you with Nougat. Apart from a small change, Samsung has changed the interface of the Note 7 directly to the Galaxy S7.

Now the interface is more basic: swipe up and down to switch cameras, left for camera modes and right for filters. You’ll just have to fiddle with the old-school buttons if you want to access HDR, flash, or the camera’s settings menu. Overall, the camera is now fun to use and more feminine than ever (if the cameras can look that way, that is).

Nougat on the Galaxy S7 brings unprecedented features. Chief among them is the feature you want to change after upgrading your phone. We are talking about the new screen resolution feature that allows you to choose between 720 x 1280 HD mode, 1080 x 1920 Full HD mode and the original 1440 x 2560 Quad HD mode. There is a new “High Performance” mode that sets your display to Quad HD and increases the brightness of the phone by 10%. Needless to say, doing so will shorten your battery life. The game mode, which sets the resolution to Full HD, also increases the brightness, allowing gamers and game monitors, and the entertainment mode, which sets the display resolution to Quad HD and Video Enhancer and UHQ Upscaler. Those are two features that aim to improve the quality of the video and audio you plan to use.

How To Get Android Nougat Beta On Your Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge

You can drop $200 on the Bose S1 Pro Bluetooth special; The new Android Nougat for T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge from Amazon is finally here! Unfortunately, this exciting news comes with a big caveat – the update is currently available to those participating in the Nougat beta program.

If you are, Samsung will send a notification to your phone to let you download the 117MB over-the-air update. Since most Android updates are around 1GB in size, the update may include some changes to the beta build that users have tried before.

Samsung has not revealed when Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users on T-Mobile will receive the Nougat update. For beta users, if the update completes without issue, we recommend T-Mobile.
