The Samsung Galaxy Note 21 is expected to be released in the summer of 2021, but Samsung did not go ahead with the expected release. Instead, Samsung released the Galaxy Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 when the Note series always gets a new release – in August 2021.

According to some sources, Samsung is seriously considering dropping the Galaxy Note line in 2021. At first, some sources claimed that the Note 21 will leave Samsung’s portfolio in 2021 for a small but very reasonable reason: the lack of differentiation from the S21 Ultra and the upcoming Z Fold 3, which is widely rumored to support the S Pen.
Meanwhile, a large number of conflicting rumors also indicate that while Samsung may end the Note, it will not happen in 2021. There is one last hurray in the Note series, and it will indeed be the 21st note.

We have to say that the lack of leaks about the Galaxy Note 21 over the past few months is worrying. Maybe it was really wasted… this year, at least. But hey, we hear a lot of rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support the S Pen!
If the above is not correct and Samsung sticks to its traditional plans, we should expect the Galaxy Note 21 sometime in August 2021. It will likely happen alongside the Galaxy Fold 3 or Z Flip 3/Z Flip Lite announcement.
If the launch of the Note is pushed forward, allowing the Fold Z3 to take the place of August, then the next Note could arrive in January 2022, alongside the Galaxy S22 series.

Tipster @UniverseIce shared a couple of cool unofficial renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 21 and Galaxy Note 21 Ultra. The rendering highlights many of the key features we can expect to see in the 2021 smartphone design.
We are fans of the gold finish that is only shown in the versions. But more interesting are the bezels, or almost their absence. The Samsung Galaxy Note 21 shown here has 1mm bezels at the top and bottom and curved sides of the Galaxy series.
Both the fingerprint scanner and the front camera module are missing, suggesting that Samsung will go the display route in both areas. A number of phones, including last year’s Redmi K20 Pro, have shipped with fingerprint recognition technology. Many 2020 smartphone designs are expected to feature front cameras under the display.
