Samsung Galaxy A12 128gb Review – Our test report on the Samsung Galaxy A12 shows once again: Samsung has many different models in its affordable mid-range. Five affordable mid-range smartphones have been put to the test for six months. However, the differences between the Galaxy models are very small…

The Korean manufacturer’s successful worldwide sales of its Galaxy A series is undoubtedly one of the reasons why Samsung is launching several affordable mid-range smartphones in Germany. Over the course of six months, we tested very similar Samsung phones from the Galaxy A series between 160 and 200 euros: the Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A21s and Galaxy A12. With the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M21, two more Galaxy M models have been added with an average price of up to 220 euros.

However, there are few differences between different Samsung mobile phones. The Samsung Galaxy A12 we tested recently has a few differences from other affordable Galaxy phones in the A and M series.

Samsung Galaxy A12 (6gb Ram + 128gb Rom) Smartphone

The standout in our test, the Galaxy A12 takes good pictures with the main camera, is well-built, and we like the sculpted back, too. Very long battery life and good hardware, including One UI and Samsung Knox, are the strong points of the Galaxy phone. However, the Samsung mobile shares these positive qualities with the Galaxy A21 that we tested, and only a few points in favor of the Galaxy A12 compared to its sister model, which is currently even cheaper. Here, we don’t see much progress between the 2021 and 2020 models, sometimes the other way around, as the latter has significantly faster WLAN and a slightly faster chipset – the Galaxy A21s should also adopt One UI 3.

However, the Galaxy A12 is a solid smartphone in the price segment around 150 euros. Do you care about phone longevity and interested in a cheap phone? Then you can get a detailed impression of the Galaxy A12 in our Galaxy smartphone test report.

My biggest passion has always been mobile technology, especially smartphones. As a techie, my devices don’t exactly have a long half-life and the latest hardware is good enough – either the manufacturer or the operating system plays a secondary role, and most importantly, it’s advanced. In addition, since the Mobi-Test blog first appeared in 2016, I have noticed a passion for technology and tested the latest trends in the field of smartphones, tablets and accessories. The Galaxy A12 is one of Samsung’s cheapest A-series members. series and has been trending frequently since its release in December. It stands out from many of its siblings as it is one of the few Samsung phones with an IPS panel instead of AMOLED, the latter being too expensive a segment for the target budget.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Review, Pros And Cons

While the panel doesn’t get an OLED upgrade, the Galaxy A12 still brings a few upgrades over its predecessor. For example, there is a slight increase in screen size – 6.5″. The Snapdragon 450 MediaTek Helio P35 SoC has been replaced, which significantly increases the clock speed of four Cortex-A53 cores. There are many memory configurations. From 3 GB/ 32 GB to 6 GB / up to 128 GB This gives you more features than adding 1 GB of main RAM.

We expect the biggest improvement to be in the camera department. The 13MP sensor has been replaced by a much larger 48MP shooter. Those 48MP Quad-Bayer (or Tetracell, as Samsung uses the term) sensors have helped improve mid-range image quality significantly, and it’s great to see that it’s now down to baseline.

The 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and 2MP depth sensor are carried over from the Galaxy A11, and there’s one new addition, but it doesn’t make much of a difference – a 2MP dedicated macro zoom.

The waterdrop notch on the front houses an 8MP f/2.2 selfie camera. Samsung’s switch from a hole to a notch is surprising, but performance is more important and we’ll take a closer look at it in our review.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Price In Pakistan Specifications

Another big improvement is the battery capacity. The Galaxy A12 has a 5000 mAh unit compared to the A11’s 4000 mAh, so we expect a significant increase in endurance. 15W charging doesn’t sound great, but it’s not too bad for an entry-level phone. Unlike the latest premium phones, this one comes with the requisite charger in the box.

Sitting comfortably in the sub-€150 range, we’re keen to see how the Galaxy A12 fares and how it compares to its direct competitors in our regular tests.

I think it should be a bit cheaper as it is more expensive than the a21 which is a better phone than the a12 with better memory and chipset. Trusted reviews are approved by the audience. If you make a purchase through links on our site, we may receive a commission. learn more

The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a budget phone that’s loved for everything from its great battery life to its imaginative and attractive design, but its day-to-day performance is so slow that all of its good points come at a huge hurdle.

Infinix Hot 10t Vs Samsung Galaxy A12: Comparison Review

£169 for a phone with sharp quad cameras, a big battery and a generous display, all wrapped up in an attractive package?

On paper, this looks very attractive, but how does it actually stack up? The Motorola Moto G8 sets the bar at this price point, and unfortunately, the Galaxy A12 is less than the sum of its parts.

Of course, this is a matter of personal preference, but in our opinion, the Samsung Galaxy A12 is one of the most beautiful plastic phones you can buy.

A matte finish runs up the sides of the phone, while a diagonal pattern of shallow ridges covers the top of the back. The smooth bottom does not spoil the look, creating a pleasant two-tone look.

The four rear cameras are housed in a rectangular module that looks smaller than similar units on other phones, but the hardware sticks out so that the phone doesn’t lie completely flat on the table.

The headphone jack and microSD card slot are nice touches, and there’s also a downward-facing mono speaker on the bottom edge.

The volume keys and power button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, are embedded on the right side of the phone and are accessible without having to adjust the bezel.

That’s impressive given that the Galaxy A12 sports a large 6.5-inch PLS display with a teardrop-shaped notch for the selfie camera, with super-thick bezels.

Samsung Galaxy A12 (6gb+128gb)

With a resolution of 1600 x 720 and a pixel density of 270ppi, the screen is sharp enough for most people’s needs.

Viewing angles are also strong, with the only drawback being brightness. On a sunny day, it can be found without maximum yield.

The Galaxy A12’s quad camera setup looks like this. A 48-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor give the impression of a smartphone that takes photography seriously.

However, bear in mind that this is a sub-£200 device. Anyone expecting results to give the Google Pixel 6 a run for their money will be disappointed, but lower your expectations and you’ll be happy, at least in optimal lighting conditions. Check out a selection of shots below:

It’s not so clear in medium or dim light, where images come out almost perfectly noisy and blurry. There’s no night mode to save you, and effective HDR can only do so much.

It’s a surprising omission considering the available shooting options, including Portrait, Food, Macro and Pro modes.

Portrait mode is almost there these days, and it lets you adjust the depth of field to your desired level; Food mode is portrait mode instead of food pages; Macro mode is designed for close-ups, but the results leave something to be desired (see the snail above); and Pro mode allows you to go into the camera settings and change them to your liking.
