Review Mycharge Portable Power Bank

Review Mycharge Portable Power Bank – Usually I cover games on Adventures in Poor Taste, but lately I’ve been trying out some accessories to go with them. And that includes chargers, because yes, if you don’t have a power plug for your cell phone or Nintendo Switch, you need something to keep the battery from draining, right?

MyCharge recently reached out to see if I would give their devices a look. First up is the HubMax Universal, a portable charger with some real flair behind it; And another is the more powerful RazorExtreme PD, which is intended to power laptops and devices or larger sizes with plug-in support.

First up is the HubMax Universal. This little wonder is a practical solution for those looking for a charger for your small devices, including iOS and Android compatible devices. It’s a convenient all-in-one device with retractable iPhone and USB-C cables built into the device. It can be difficult to plug something in if you need a long cable, but it’s very easy to set your mobile device next to it.

Moreover, there is a set of power plugs built into the device. You simply flick it down and plug it in and it starts charging instantly. Then, when you’re done, you fold it back up and use it as normal. It’s a pretty cool trick, though its design probably adds $100 to the price.

The device has a pretty solid charge as I was able to recharge both my iPhone and iPad before finally running out of juice. That really speaks to its long-term value, especially when you’re on the go and don’t have access to a power outlet. (The same can easily be said for a long flight on a cheap charter.)

As you can see from the pictures, the HubMax Universal has a sleek, silver design that makes it look practical next to your other electronics. And it slides into your pocket with minimal scratches, unless you have something else to bump against it, like your keys.

Overall, though the price is a bit high (compared to other chargers), the MyCharge Hub performs well. It lasts well enough to provide hours of charge and is conveniently recharged with a built-in plug-in. Plus, it’s easy to see how much power is left with its illuminated indicator on the side. Of all MyCharge’s products, this is definitely a favorite.

Mycharge Razorextreme Pd Portable Charger Review

Despite being priced the same as the HubMax Universal, the RazorExtreme PD is a much larger unit. But in addition to charging phones and tablets, it also complements your small laptop. (Maybe don’t go out of your way and connect it to your gaming rig.)

The device has two USB-A ports and one USB-C port, though it doesn’t have built-in cables like the HubMax. But the included cables make it convenient to connect and charge your devices.

It has a bigger charge than the HubMax, with about 13.5 times more battery. This makes it excellent for those who need a workstation on the go or those who want to type on a laptop while relaxing by the pool without searching for an outlet. That said, being an Apple guy I would have preferred some sort of Lightning cable compatibility.

With multiple ports, the RazorExtreme can charge more than one device, provided you have ports that can handle plug-ins. It also has advanced power delivery technology built in, so it stays good while on charge. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a built-in plug-in device, so you’ll need to charge it via a traditional cable.

The 4 Best Wireless Charging Power Banks

It is very easy to use, with a light-up indicator that shows how much power is left. And it’s beautifully designed with a dark build and a scratch-free surface, aside from stuffing it back in a bag with other items.

But it is not entirely convenient, mainly because of its large size. Sure, it’s powerful, but if you’re a person on the go, you might find it a bit difficult to fit it in your pocket. This is best reserved for small bags or containers where you can store it with your laptop.

I like the HubMax better, but the RazorExtreme is a pretty bloated charger when it comes to size and compatibility with USB-A/USB-C devices. It’s not as convenient, but for the same price, you get more juice to take with your laptop. It really depends on what purpose you want it for.

They’re both worth checking out, but if I had to make a recommendation between the two, HubMax would be the way to go.

MyCharge Adventure H2O Turbo is a robust, waterproof portable power bank. It’s great for outdoor adventurers who want to recharge their phones or satellite communicators while off the grid.

Basically myCharge Adventure is a faster, more powerful version of H2O. I’ve used both versions in the field, and I’ve used non-waterproof myCharge chargers for years with excellent results. Here’s what I learned during the testing and review process:

On The Go Charging With Mycharge Hubmini #review #giveaway

MyCharge makes two versions of its Adventure H2O waterproof chargers: the ‘Turbo’ version includes a USB-C in/out charging port, allowing for faster charging than the standard version with two USB outputs.

On the outside, the myCharge Adventure H2O and Turbo versions look identical. Both have a rugged hard exterior with a rubberized flap to protect the charging ports. Both come with a lightweight carabiner. They all have a 1P67 rating for water resistance, meaning they can withstand submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The Adventure H2O series comes in several size options, from a lightweight 3,350 mAh battery to a larger 20,100 mAh battery. Both versions have excellent build quality.

The main differences between the Adventure H2O and the Adventure H2O Turbo are the charging ports and the charging speed.

The Adventure H2O Turbo (top) includes a USB-C in/out port, while the Adventure H2O (bottom) only has a USB-C port for charging.

MyCharge Adventure H2O Turbo has one standard USB charging port, one USB-C in/out port and one USB-C charging port.

As more and more new mobile devices switch to USB-C charging cables, the Turbo version is a bit more versatile (but it’s fairly easy to find charging cables in various configurations these days).

Turbo can output 18W fast charging. This extra speed is ideal for high-capacity smartphones, but is important if you plan to charge larger devices like tablets.

Gear Review: Mycharge Portable Power Outlet

Although there are many competing portable chargers available these days, there are not many waterproof portable chargers. So that’s how

A rubber flap that covers the charging ports works well. The seal is ideal for keeping out rain, splashes, and the charger can even survive a submersion. The important thing to remember is that once you open the rubber flap, the charger is no longer waterproof. This means that myCharge Adventure H2O is not waterproof when you are using it to charge the device.

The real benefit of waterproofing is the ability to throw it in a fishing backpack or pocket and not have to worry about it getting wet.

Because it’s rugged and waterproof, the myCharge Adventure H2O series earned a spot in our Best Outdoor Gift Guide this year, as well as our Best Outdoor Gift Guide for Men.

The 10,050 mAh Adventure H2O Turbo (left) is slightly larger than the 3,350 mAh Adventure H2O (right).

If you’re looking for a small, waterproof device charger, choose the 3,350 mAh or 6,700 mAh standard Adventure H2O. If you’re wondering how much charging capacity works for you, you can compare the capacity with the battery that comes with your phone.

For example, the iPhone 14 has a 3,279 mAh battery. This means that the little adventure H2O charger will be able to recharge the iPhone 14 – completely – or completely.

However, this is not the whole story. While the standard Adventure H2O versions are slightly lighter and less expensive, the Turbo offers more capacity with more weight. Here’s a comparison: The 10,050 mAh Adventure H20 Turbo has 3 times the capacity of the 3,350 mAh Adventure H2O. . . But it weighs just 1.3 ounces more:

At 10,050 mAh in size, the Adventure H2O Turbo is particularly versatile. The only downside to choosing the turbo version is the increased cost compared to the non-turbo versions.
