Well, the chipset can really do that… which is also good because I “must” have a 4000 battery and 128 gigabytes of internal storage… although Pocofone or Redmi 9 won’t be an alternative – they have a 3.x00 battery as far as I know… and I don’t want to worsen in this case compared to the Redmi Note4 😉

Updated May 5, 08:30. ET: Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China earlier this year, a budget phone with a 48MP rear camera. In a press release we received via email today, the Chinese company revealed that the smartphone is now shipping to the UK.

May 7 is the same day that Google will launch its new mid-range Google Pixel phones, the Pixel 3A and the Pixel 3A XL, which will be released soon. Looks like it’s a good week for those looking for great smartphone cameras at sub-flagship prices.

Other specs include a 6.3-inch Full HD+ teardrop display, USB Type-C connectivity, 18W wired charging, an IR blaster, and a headphone jack.
But the best thing about the phone has to be the price, which starts at just RMB 999 (~$147) for the 3GB/32GB model. The 4GB/64GB variant is available for RMB 1,199 (~$177), while the 6GB/64GB model is priced at RMB 1,399 (~$206). Could this be the cheapest 48MP smartphone we’ll see on the market in the next few months? I wouldn’t bet against this company.
