Redmi Note 10 Pro is in the upper budget segment and is the successor of Redmi Note 9 Pro. This is the best Note 10 series from Redmi in the global market and offers the most bang for your buck. Onboard you will find a solid Snapdragon offering with sufficient RAM and storage options, a camera with a high pixel count and a large battery. But that’s not all, the Redmi Note 10 Pro packs some great features that complete the experience.

However, it is a bit confusing for the Indian market. The Redmi Note 10 Pro in this region has a 64MP primary camera instead of the 108MP sensor found in the global variant. The latter is reserved only for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, which is for all intents and purposes the Redmi Note 10 Pro everywhere but with an additional suffix.
The Indian variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro also lacks IP54 and NFC ratings. The price above refers to the regular Note 10 Pro in India and we will discuss the price of the corresponding Indian variant. The Redmi Note 10 Pro might look like a glass and metal panel, but it’s not. We appreciate the Gorilla Glass 5 that covers the face of the phone and the curved back glass, while the central frame is made of plastic. Redmi has done its best to give the phone a high-end look, and it usually does a convincing job.
It is a svelte device. Redmi has kept the thickness in the control, which is very far. In addition, the material is polished with a high gloss, which makes it look more luxurious. The Onyx Gray finish in the hand may look steely, but fingerprints and grime quickly dampen the experience. I like that the top and bottom corners of the phone are not flat but matte. This helps give the phone some personality.
Same with all other super slabs today. The elongated shape means you can barely reach the top of the screen with your thumb. The Note 10 Pro’s high gloss means the phone is insanely slippery. It can slide off the desk and table if set at the slightest angle, so be careful where you place it. Luckily this means it’s easy out of your pocket. If you want, you can cover it with the included soft case, which makes it a bit grippy. It’s a good weight for a phone of this size.
There are quite a few functional elements around the four corners of the phone. To start with, you have the volume rocker and the combined power/screen lock button in the right corner. The power button is a fingerprint reader, which does not present any problems during training and daily use. This button has a nice function. On the left side is the combo SIM/memory card tray. The tray supports one microSD card and two SIM cards simultaneously. With so many phones, there are often situations or circumstances, which makes the Note 10 Pro more flexible than most.

Elsewhere, the USB-C port is on the bottom and (believe it or not) the 3.5mm headphone jack is on the top. Finally, the phone has speakers on the top and bottom that create stereo sound. The volume is great, but the quality is a bit thin on the ears.
Redmi has slightly extended the camera module, which has two elements stacked on top of each other. This is a busy design, deviating from the pure simplicity of the previous cover. Together with the two-layer assembly, it has bright silver elements surrounded by a black frame with some text. Everything is bald. You can always feel the camera module when the phone is in your pocket.
Overall, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is a generally cohesive smartphone that potential owners should like.
