As reviewers, we review several devices each year and are always excited when we come across something different, which doesn’t happen very often. Galaxy A52 is one of those interesting phones. Its soft touch and its minimalist appearance are what distinguishes it.
No fancy gradients, no textures, no fancy taglines, no jagged edges – just intriguingly attractive solid colors and a smooth feel-good back where the camera array rises smoothly. This sensible redesign should appeal to all age groups, but we think it will especially appeal to the younger crowd.

The phone is DRM L1 certified and supports Full HD streaming on Netflix, Prime Videos and other relevant apps. HDR streaming only worked on YouTube. The nice thing about Samsung phones is that the screen locks in the brightness and maximizes it whenever it receives an HDR signal, allowing for the best possible HDR experience.

With the display set to 90Hz, Call of Duty Mobile defaulted to High-High, but performance wasn’t really smooth beyond average graphics and low frame rates. The main 64-megapixel resolution sensor now supports OIS, contributing to noticeable improvements in low-light photography. Macro camera performance was better than the competition. The same cannot be said for portrait mode. That’s not to say that portraits are missing, but we’ve seen better edge detection on phones like the Redmi Note 10 and Realme 8 Pro.
