One Plus 8t Cyberpunk Edition – OnePlus announced the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition device earlier this month, and now you can take a closer look at the device. When it was released, we only got two renders of the device.
These renders were good, but real life images are something entirely different. Some prototype images of the device have now surfaced in China, courtesy of MyDrivers.
One Plus 8t Cyberpunk Edition
If you look at the gallery below the article, you can see the phone in the flesh. OnePlus decided to change the entire back of the device. It looks quite futuristic and definitely fits the cyberpunk 2077 theme.
This Is The New Limited Edition Oneplus 8t Cyberpunk 2077 Mobile
The cameras remain the same as on the OnePlus 8T, but the camera module is now much larger. Cyberpunk 2077 branding is included on the back as well as a new paint job. Despite adopting the new CMF design, the phone is still made of metal and glass.
You will notice a fake carbon fiber texture on the back of the device. The front of the device remains the same, more or less. The dimensions of the device also remain unchanged in case you were wondering.
In these images, you can see not only the device from several angles, but also the SIM card holder and the phone charger. As you will notice, the SIM card tray is sealed for water resistance. The retail box of this device is also shown here.
Note however that this is a Chinese model of the phone. The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition has just been announced in China only. We are not sure if the international model will be launched, but it will happen.
Oneplus 8t Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Goes Official In China
This variant comes with Hydrogen OS and not Oxygen OS, so it is a completely different software without Google services. If the international model is released, OxygenOS will also be included. OnePlus has announced a new version of its flagship 8T phone — the new OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition. It is worth noting that the specifications of the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition are the same as the regular OnePlus 8T. OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Price The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition is priced at CNY 3,999 (Rs 44,500 approx) and is available in 12GB/256GB variant. The limited edition device is already available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from November 11. OnePlus has yet to confirm details on international availability. The biggest differences between the standard OnePlus 8T and the Cyberpunk Edition are on the back. The camera module extends across the entire top of the device with CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 branding on the left side of the module. The center of the back of the phone appears to have the same design as the sandstone cover, while another glass cover features a second Cyberpunk 2020 logo at the bottom. The retail box also features Cyberpunk 2020 branding, while the charger looks similar and is also Cyberpunk branded. Finally, there’s a cyberpunk-inspired case with cutouts at the top and bottom to show off the game’s logo on the back. There is also a map of Night City, the setting of the game Cyberpunk 2077. OnePlus has also installed custom UI themes, live wallpapers and icons that match the cyberpunk design. Oneplus 8t Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Revealed With Special Design
Half of the back cover of the OnePlus 8T CyberPunk 2077 is made from a special version of Glass AG, a variant of the opaque glass used on the latest top of the line OnePlus. Chaos is the feeling that OnePlus wants to return to, with a dotted texture reminiscent of video audio. Finally, at the bottom, we see a glossy glass showing the game’s logo, surrounded by a yellow halo border that is reproduced on the sides, in line with the power button and volume rocker.
But it’s not there: the cyberpunk-ian theme is taken in software, with an ad hoc themed user interface. OnePlus is teaming up with new game Cyberpunk 2077 to create a version of the OnePlus 8T that looks like it’s straight out of the game’s dystopian sci-fi setting. The special edition handset will be available in limited numbers and will only be released in mainland China, so we were very excited to get our hands on a model to unbox and photograph ourselves.
