Moto Razr teasers have been streaming around the internet for the past few weeks and it is now confirmed that the product will officially launch early next month.

The Moto Razr is expected to get a new black hue and feature dual rear cameras as detailed in multiple leaks, while the flagship phone will likely be called the Motorola X30 Pro and it could have a 200MP main camera on the rear. In addition to that, the Weibo post also hints at the launch of a new user interface for these devices.

According to the Weibo post, the Moto Razr 2022 launch date is August 2 and the event will take place at 7:30 p.m. (5:00 p.m. IST) in China. Motorola will also launch the Moto X30 Pro smartphone at the same event.

According to the leaked details, the 2022 Moto Razr flip phone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. We expect the device to sport an AMOLED display with support for a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen should offer Full HD+ resolution and we hope Motorola includes some sort of protection for the screen.

The Moto G53 has been announced for the European market and the single 4GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at EUR 250. The handset is expected to land in India in the coming months as the successor to the G52, a 4G smartphone. As for specs, the Moto G53 5G sports a large 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 480+ paired with LPDDR4X RAM. The device comes with a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back, while a 16MP selfie snapper on the front supports selfies and video calls. The phone runs on Android 13 and packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

While the Moto G53 has been unveiled in Europe and China, the company is already planning to launch its variant in the form of Moto G53. The device was recently spotted on a Google Play console listing, indicating that the smartphone will soon be made official in key Motorola markets. As for specs, the listing reveals that the Moto G53s could come with a Snapdragon SM4350 chipset, a Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It is said to run on the latest Android 13 operating system with Moto’s MyUX skin.

The Moto G23 was recently launched in the European market for 230 euros. The handset will also be unveiled in India in the first two months of 2023. As for specs, the Moto G23 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the handset is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
