On February 14, 2023, the non-Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application was permanently disabled in some versions of Windows 10 via Microsoft Edge Update. Note that this update will roll out from a few days to a week, as is standard with Microsoft Edge updates.
All remaining consumer and commercial devices not redirected from IE11 to Microsoft Edge have been redirected with the Microsoft Edge update. Users will not be able to revert changes. Additionally, redirects from IE11 to Microsoft Edge will be included as part of all future Microsoft Edge updates.
How To Use Internet Explorer Mode In Microsoft Edge
Based on customer feedback, organizations will retain control over determining when to remove IE11 UI elements from their devices if they haven’t already. Note: IT teams can uninstall IE11 Visual Reference on Windows 10 devices using the IE Disable policy.
Additionally, in the coming months, a small subset of certain skins for which IE11 is still available will be redirected to Edge, giving users access to a supported and more secure Microsoft browser. Details will be found in the Windows and Microsoft Edge release notes.

How To Uninstall Internet Explorer From Windows Server
IE Mode support follows the lifecycle of current and future versions of Windows Client, Windows Server, and Windows IoT (including Windows 11) through at least 2029. Additionally, Microsoft will provide one year’s notice before retiring the IE Mode experience. . Windows support dates are documented on the Product Lifecycle page. Some versions of Windows may require an ESU license to receive operating system security updates, if any, until the end of the support date.
If support for a version of Windows ends before 2029, support for IE Mode will also end in that version of Windows. Please upgrade to a supported version of Windows to continue using IE mode
