Love Frankie lampshades are made using flame retardant PVC and a variety of beautiful fabrics. Our frames are made with a 39mm European ring fitting with a 29mm British adapter ring already fitted which can be inserted and removed as needed. This means that all shades are suitable for both British and European lamps or flexible and armature fittings.

Our lights are designed using industry standard light ring fittings suitable for all UK and EU light fixtures, as well as flexible fitting and mounting hardware. We put an adapter ring in the fitting that allows the shade to change from 39mm / ES27 (EU) fit to 29mm / small bayonet (UK) fit.

Our shades will not fit American style harp lights or lights that require shading. These can be ordered upon request, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with your needs.
The bulb in the center of the shade is 4cm from the bottom of the lamp shade or 4cm from the top of the ceiling pendant shade. The price of our lighting does not include the Flex and Fitting kit or the table lamp. The lighting is only sold as lighting and the replacement/table lamp is for photography only.

Three layers of materials are used to make our gold and copper plated shades; lining, PVC, then select fabric or wallpaper. This allows the colors on the outside of the shade to remain rich and opaque.
No light can enter the side of the shade, meaning that the light is directed and will reflect off the metal lining, creating a beautiful light on the top and bottom of the shade.
The amount of light from the shade will depend on the size of the shade you order, for example: the bigger the shade, you will get more light.

The type of light to be used with our lighting will depend on the maximum wattage of the light or the transformer you wish to use. Please consult the manufacturer’s manual to find the correct setting and maximum power.
The best type of lighting is the European ES27 lamp. A large screw in the bottle with a diameter of 27 mm.
Alternatively, the B22 BC bayonet bulb is a UK standard bulb with a diameter of 22mm.

Love Frankie is a small group that fills all our lights with love. We aim to ship our lights within 3-4 weeks. During busy periods such as Christmas and/or any sales, this period may increase to 5-6 weeks. Please contact us if you are in a hurry to order as we will do our best to help you complete the deadline.
Delivery time for other products ordered from the Love Frankie website is 3-5 working days unless otherwise stated on the printed product. Finally…if you order more than one item, your order will be shipped at a different time.
