Therefore, IPL may require several sessions to completely remove hair, while laser can remove it in less time. Either way, Kenzzi is a great option for hair removal in the comfort of your own home.
Tria Vs. Kenzzi: Which Hair Removal Device Is Better?
When it arrived I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging and the actual product. It came in a deluxe box (recycled so I don’t have a picture) and everything looked great. The instructions on how to use it were straight forward with no confusion. If you don’t want to keep the mini-guide, an instruction booklet was sent to you and I opted for that.
The touch and feel of the device is also very nice. It’s comfortable in the hand and the perfect size to hold, not too bulky or awkward.
If you’re at all familiar with laser hair removal, you know that waxing removes the root of the hair, so you shouldn’t be waxing the area you want to treat. For the laser or IPL to work, the hair follicle must be in place.
It is recommended to shave or exfoliate the area to be treated before starting the laser treatment. Exfoliation will get rid of dead, dry skin for a closer shave. This will help remove ingrown hairs after shaving.

For me, I bought a dry exfoliating brush and I can’t tell you how amazing it is.
A dry brush is so much better than those pesky exfoliating gloves. I always feel like they irritate my skin and do more harm than good. The benefits of using a dry brush were on my legs day and night. I’ve always had really bad ingrown hairs on the backs of my legs, but since using my dry brush it’s completely gone. Recommended! In short, make sure you exfoliate before using Kenzzi because yes, it does make a difference.
Once you’re done exfoliating and scraping the desired areas, you’re ready to go! Kenzie recommends going through each zone 3 times. I try to keep the pulses about 1 inch apart so I don’t miss any pieces. The device has a sliding option so you don’t have to press the button for each pulse. This is great for large pieces like legs.
