Before we guide you on how to install the August 2019 firmware, we recommend creating a full backup of your device. Once this is done, you can follow the steps below to update your phone. The installation process for the August 2019 firmware is the same for all three versions, you just need to download the correct file corresponding to your Galaxy S10 version.

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Has Familiar Software Update Failings
Read each line carefully and make sure you read the tutorial once before running it on your device.
Step 1 – Download the Android Pie update from the links below for your specific Galaxy S10 model on your computer and extract the zip file.
Step 3 – Turn off your phone. Now enter download mode. Good and you? Press and hold the Volume Down + Bixby buttons together, then press the Power button until you see the built-in Android robot and the triangle. Press Power again to confirm to enter download mode.
Step 5 – Open ODIN on your computer. Connect your phone to the computer while the phone is in charging mode.

Step 6 – If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow and show the COM port number. This step may take some time.
Step 7 – Now select the files you need to burn/install on your phone. These files can be found in the files extracted in step 1.
If you are using an older version of ODIN or upgrading firmware that does not have the file name format mentioned above, see the old name format abbreviations below. Note that only the file name changes, the functionality and background process remains the same, so don’t worry.
Step 9 – Now click on Start button in ODIN. The installation process will start and take a few minutes.

Step 10 – Once the installation is complete, your phone will reboot. When you see the splash screen, disconnect your phone from the computer.
That’s it. Samsung Galaxy S10 has now been updated to Android Pie firmware update. Select Settings > About phone to confirm.
