To be eligible for Xfinity Prepaid Internet, you must be 18 years of age and have an Xfinity-eligible address but no active Xfinity service.
Seeing as how those are the only qualifications, it’s safe to assume that the service is available to former Xfinity customers who have an outstanding balance on their accounts. However, Xfinity does not explicitly state whether former customers are eligible for prepaid service.

The Xfinity Prepaid Internet Starter Kit costs $45 for the first 30 days of Internet service and includes a gateway device with purchase.
To continue service, customers can add days or “top up” in increments of seven or 30 days. A seven-day recharge is $15, while a 30-day recharge is $45. The 30-day recharge is definitely a better deal as it comes with nine extra days compared to spending the same amount on three seven-day recharges.
Because customers purchase their equipment upfront, there are no ongoing equipment costs. Taxes and government fees may still apply, but for the most part you can expect to pay $15 or $45 to renew your service, depending on which top-up you choose.

Keep in mind that Wi-Fi speeds are often much slower than a wired connection, so download speeds on Xfinity prepaid Wi-Fi will likely drop below 25 Mbps. For this reason, we wouldn’t recommend Xfinity Prepaid Internet for streaming services or online gaming, especially if you plan to connect multiple devices via Wi-Fi.
About $45/month. for 50 Mbps, the cost per Mbps (an estimate of how much speed you get for the price) with Xfinity prepaid internet is about $0.90.
By comparison, one of the lowest priced Xfinity plans, Xfinity Connect Internet, comes with 75 Mbps for around $30/month. It costs $0.40 per Mbps, which is significantly less than prepaid service.
