Best Mid Range Phones Of 2020 – 2020 in the rearview mirror? Be healthy! As I look back on the year, like some of my peers, I reflect on the best smartphones of the year. So that’s my personal top 5, albeit with a few twists.
First, I’ve decided to stick with the phones I’ve used extensively this year, leaving out those I’ve played with for a few days or less, as well as those I haven’t even touched. So all these opinions are based on spending a lot of time with each of these devices. For that reason, you won’t see anything from OnePlus, Google, or Apple on the list – I haven’t used them enough and thought it wasn’t fair to mention them, even though they’re great in theory. The next paragraph is probably the most surprising paragraph I’ve ever written, at least to me. If you’d asked me my thoughts on Oppo’s ColorOS a year or two ago, I could have spent hours (literally) talking about how bad it compares to other skins and iOS, like the aesthetics and iOS’s inspired functionality Android users. But it all started with ColorOS 7.x, the first skin version that I think never got in your way and just let you enjoy the hardware on offer.
Then ColorOS 11 came along and made things even better. In fact, ColorOS 11 is currently my favorite Android skin. Its customization options are very extensive, there are no unnecessary features that nobody wants to use, its speed is unmatched and there are no lags or lags anywhere. It’s fast, fluid and in the find there are no strange features anywhere (except for the structure of the settings menu, but after a few days you get used to it easily), everything always works.

Finally, the fast charge from zero to full in about 35 minutes made battery capacity less important to me (definitely not) than I thought. Taking all these things into account, the Oppo Find X2 Pro is definitely worth it. place on my top 5 list 2020.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offers everything a 2020 flagship phone has to offer, including a fast refresh rate screen, fast charging, good cameras and a top-of-the-line chipset. But what earns this phone its place on my Top 5 2020 list is something that is very difficult to describe and impossible to “see” in any particular list, no matter how detailed.
And that’s the general experience of using it. Since the release of MIUI 12, the Mi 10 Pro has consistently been one of the best used phones. Much of this feeling comes from the updated animations as well as smooth vibrations throughout the interface, which is just an amazing feeling thanks to the fact that it has one of the best vibration motors in a smartphone. Speaking of “best of all time”, the Mi 10 Pro’s stereo speakers are pretty close, if not quite there.
The software itself still has many minor quirks and annoyances and isn’t entirely bug-free, but looks as modern as an Android skin should be in 2020 and is just a joy to look at and use. The Mi 10 Pro doesn’t have any notable downsides either, unless you absolutely need the periscope zoom camera. So you get a full flagship package that’s on par with any other, but doesn’t offer a top-of-the-line phone in 2020. Degree of ease of use for me. The Mate 40 Pro made the list, although for most people in western markets the lack of Google services and apps is taboo. The fact that I have it here is a testament to how good the phone is, despite what it isn’t. Thanks to its amazing camera system, it probably snatched the Best of 2020 award from its competitors, but it’s not just about the cameras.
The battery life is excellent, I already mentioned the cameras which are among the best on the phone, the performance is amazing and the smoothness is the best I’ve seen even if it works with “only” 90Hz screen .
Oh, and speaking of that screen, I love the way it curves on the sides and I also love that even though it’s the ‘waterfall’ theme of 2020, thanks of Huawei’s random touch function problem? To achieve this, it was possible to couple hardware and software.
I can’t find anything bad to say about the Mate 40 Pro other than the odd lack of OIS on the main camera, although to be fair, 99% of the time you’re not going to notice much of it when shooting. However, this is the second possible downside of the phone, because life without Google services and applications in 2020 is not for everyone and therefore the Mate 40 Pro is only part of the top 5 list and not the “best smartphone” in my opinion opinion. .
Motorola Moto E (2020) Review: As Good As It Gets For $150
It’s simple and entirely subjective. The Mystic Bronze Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the best phone I have ever seen or used. Always. The glass back also feels the best I’ve ever encountered, with satin-matte vibrations and almost no fingerprints at all. The camera lens is great, but unlike the S20 Ultra, I really like the design. It’s really funny that I rate the back of the S20 Ultra as probably the ugliest, while the Note20 Ultra is the prettiest (to my eyes and taste). It’s clear that Samsung has two different design teams for the S and Note lines, and you already know whose work I prefer.
But it’s not just about the back. The looks of this phone are superb in every way in my eyes, which is well worth considering given its price. But seriously, the lines, the smooth curves, the box design compared to most of the competition (although not all in one box like Sony), the sleek metal top and bottom, this is just the thing in my opinion The epitome of good design. . In terms of design, nothing else came close this year and the Note20 Ultra is stunning every time I look at it.

Flagship killers are a dime a dozen these days, everyone makes at least one, and this part of the market has never been so crowded. While you probably wouldn’t call Realme a flagship killer, in my opinion the X50 Pro is exactly that. It’s the best I’ve used this year, although it’s hard to say exactly why I feel that way. Something about the combination of size, user experience, fast charging, and a camera system that, while not the best, has no downsides and actually has a telephoto lens.
