Hello to everybody. I have a Samsung mini GT-S 6500 that my wife has had in a drawer for a few years that she could use. My husband is not tech savvy and doesn’t use the phone much. Should be fine with an Asda sim if the phone is EE locked (as EE is MVNO), expensive without buying EE Direct bundles, in the region of 35p per minute iirc.

One more thing if you are going to use it as you describe make sure you turn off mobile data or credit will drip as it connects to the network in the background.
