Samsung has increased its range in the budget segment by introducing its latest M series smartphones. The company has launched the Galaxy M31 in the country at a starting price of Rs 16,856. The smartphone comes with a capable processor, a large battery and a quad-camera. The company offers a good package at this price which really gives a tough competition to others. We had the opportunity to use the Samsung Galaxy M31 for a while and here is our full review
Update Samsung Mobile M31 128gb Price Review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 borrows its design from its predecessor, the Galaxy M30. At first glance, it is very difficult to distinguish between these two devices. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity U display surrounded by thin bezels on all sides. The smartphone has smooth edges and rounded corners, which make it easy to hold. In addition to the large display, there is also a 32 MP selfie camera on the front. On the right side are the volume controls and the power button, while the left side has the SIM card tray and the microSD card slot. The mono speaker, USB Type-C charging port and 3.5 mm audio jack are located at the bottom of the device. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a glossy back that attracts many fingers. On the back there is a quad camera, a fingerprint sensor and a Samsung brand. The smartphone never fails to impress in the design department.
Samsung Galaxy M31 Review And Price In Bangladesh
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The display offers wide viewing angles, and the larger screen makes watching movies and playing games more enjoyable. The display has a standard blue light filter, which reduces eye strain by reducing the emission of blue light. There is also a dark mode that turns the entire phone into a dark color. You can enable dark mode in the settings menus or set it to start automatically. There is also an “Accidental Touch Protection” option to prevent accidental touches on the screen. In addition, the device also has a default display that shows the time, date and pending notifications. The smartphone offers a good display despite being a budget smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is powered by Samsung’s 10nm octa-core Exynos 911 processor. The company didn’t upgrade the smartphone like its predecessor in terms of processor – the Galaxy M30s are also powered by the same chipset. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. Users can expand the storage up to 512 BG by adding a MicroSD card. Compared to the Galaxy M30, the Samsung Galaxy M31 has increased RAM capacity, which makes multitasking easier. We didn’t experience any lag or lag while using the phone. The device worked smoothly and quickly while switching between devices and playing normal games. The rear fingerprint sensor also unlocks the device quickly.
Samsung Galaxy M31 runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 platform on top. The user interface is very clean and the large app icons give the app a nice look. There is also an app drawer where users can hide all apps and keep the home screen clutter-free. Like other Samsung smartphones, it will come pre-installed with all the standard Samsung apps, as well as third-party apps like Facebook, Amazon, Snapchat and more. Samsung has not included Bixby on the Galaxy M31, and with that, the Bixby Vision app is also missing from the device. The device also has digital comfort and parental control options that provide familiar gestures. For example, users can wake up the device with a double tap, and users have the option to hide the three-button navigation interface and control the smartphone with full-screen gestures.
The camera is one of the most important improvements coming to the Galaxy M31. The Galaxy M30s has a triple rear camera while the Galaxy M31 has a quad camera. The device’s rear camera includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 32 MP selfie camera on the front. The company says both cameras are capable of 4K video recording. Samsung has also added a Night mode to the camera for a better shooting experience. As always, Samsung’s camera app is clean and easy to use, and users can find a variety of ways to take photos within the app. Along with this, the app also offers a toggle that allows users to switch between the primary and wide-angle cameras. The app also has a scene optimizer that detects the scene quickly and adjusts the camera accordingly. We are very pleased with the camera results of the Samsung Galaxy M31. The device focuses quickly and provides a lot of detail in the captured images. The wide lens camera provides a wide field of view as well as excellent pictures. However, we personally liked the large camera, which provides very clear images. Photos taken during the day were better than those taken indoors. The built-in Night Mode also does a great job of reducing noise in nighttime images. The 32 MP selfie camera does a satisfactory job as both indoor and outdoor selfies came out well.
Samsung Galaxy M12 Smartphone Review: Strong Battery In The Budget Galaxy Phone
On the back of the Samsung Galaxy M31 is a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Unlike other smartphone manufacturers, Samsung has included a fast charger in the box. We were able to get through a day of combined use on a single charge, thanks to the powerful battery Samsung has packed.
Samsung Galaxy M31 is a good choice if you are looking for a device under Rs 20,000. It offers great specifications like a quad camera setup and a 6000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The smartphone will not disappoint in terms of performance either. The smartphone belongs to the budget segment, but it doesn’t look like it. If you are spending around Rs 15,000 on a phone, would you seriously consider a phone other than the Redmi Note or a similar device from Realme or Nokia? Not too long ago, Samsung was the default choice here. And it’s not that Samsung hasn’t made great phones, it’s just that budget phones haven’t been that great in recent years. At least compared to the competition.
Does the Galaxy M31 change anything? To answer this all-important question (for Samsung, if no one else), read on.
Samsung chose glass for the back of the phone – a plastic that looks and paints like glass – which is smart because it gives the phone a premium look while keeping the weight down. And weight might be an issue, as Samsung has packed a monster 6,000mAh battery into this thing.

And don’t let the “glass” on the “glass” fool you, it’s still plastic and prone to scratches, and it’s also shiny, which makes the phone slippery, especially for someone with butter fingers like me. On the bright side, the phone doesn’t look cheap, unlike its predecessor.
The color variant I use is Space Black, which is honestly a bit boring for my taste. No gradient, just plain. If you don’t want black, the only other option is Ocean Blue.
Despite the glass, the phone is still heavy at 191 grams, but you have to deal with that if you want a 6000mAh battery.
A little tip, buy a phone case because you will need it and Samsung won’t give it to you.
Samsung Galaxy M31s Vs Galaxy M31: Battle Of The 6,000mah Battery Phones
The Galaxy M31 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with a waterdrop notch at the top. The front of the phone and the chin are thin, with curved edges, but we haven’t seen that before.
The assembly of four cameras installed in the camera module is also not unique, as Samsung has made this as a feature for its 2020 product. This is also it’s available on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus, as well as the latest version of the Galaxy Lite. And phones.
You’ll see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a headphone jack, Type-C port, and speaker grill on the bottom edge.
Starting with the 32 MP front camera, the phone takes great pictures. In terms of details and colors, the
