You may have to pay the mobile screen repair cost (labor cost as well as screen costs) if your mobile is out of warranty.

This service center blog provides all brands authorized service and repair center customer care number with address, email id, location and time. You will also find information related to warranty, spare parts and agreements. After the Galaxy S10 flagships, Samsung unveiled its new mid-range phones, the Galaxy A50 and A30. For the occasion, the South Korean manufacturer decided to change the A series by introducing new nomenclature and premium features. So the real question is whether the Galaxy A50 is more in the upper or lower mid-range?
The Galaxy A50 was launched at the same time as the A30, but only one of the two hit the market. On the other hand, the A40, which was officially launched in March, will soon be available in Europe, as will the A80, which was launched in April. The A50 is available for £309 (about $400) in the UK, so it’s more expensive than the A40 but cheaper than the A80. The colors offered are blue, black and coral.
Until two or three years ago, such a design would have been synonymous with high class. The trend for glass has changed the situation, but despite everything we have a good relationship between design and price here. Aesthetically, despite the shiny plastic shell, the smartphone has a very premium look. The effects of the reflections are very nice despite the presence of plastic instead of glass. However, the back of the camera breaks easily.
In the hand, the smartphone makes a good impression, especially with slightly curved edges. The touch allows you to feel the gap between the chassis a little, but it is not easy, and yet, for a smartphone at this price, it is acceptable. On the other hand, the small hole for the speaker, located just above the notch, is very smart, both to the eye and to the touch. The second speaker is located at the bottom, near the USB port. The only small criticism I would make is that the bottom bezel is wider than the top bezel, it’s weird.
Galaxy A50 Gets The October 2022 Security Update Around The World
The finish quality is in line with Samsung’s premium manufacturing. The phone gives an impression of strength and a top-of-the-range look. There is nothing special about the placement of the keys, but it is interesting to note that the smartphone has a fingerprint reader under the screen, we will return to this later. On the back we find three vertically aligned camera sensors.
Note that the device charges through a USB-C port, has a mini-jack connector and you can have two SIM cards in addition to a microSD card. These features are always expected by users, and if Samsung is wrong, it also knows what strengths to give smartphones to sell them, at a time when the competition is very intense, that is important.
The Galaxy A50 is a handsome 6.4-inch smartphone with a design Samsung calls Infinity-U Display. This is Samsung’s new name for the small, drop-shaped notch AMOLED display, a notch similar to, say, the OnePlus 6T. It is very smart and easily forgotten during navigation. The screen-to-body ratio is not as favorable as the S10s, but we still managed to reach 84%, which is promising for multimedia content.
In practice, the screen is excellent and not only for its Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels). The brightness is high enough to use it under the sun (which is finally starting to appear in Berlin) and the colors are successful. You really have to worry about not wanting a screen like this for this price. In short, Samsung remains true to its reputation as the best screen builder.
Tech Review Of Samsung Galaxy A50s Sm A507
The device has two biometric unlocking methods (in addition to the traditional PIN/password): facial recognition and a fingerprint reader that, as explained above, is located under the screen. The face recognition is of course a bit strange, the brighter the environment, the better it works, but sometimes it works accurately and quickly, sometimes (and in the same bright conditions) it doesn’t recognize me face and I found it. myself even using the fingerprint reader.
The latter is optical and not ultrasonic, unlike the Galaxy S10. It’s slow and a bit frustrating. I prefer it to facial recognition because it is (slightly) more reliable, but it is a pain to have two sophisticated unlocking systems only to enter a code “the old way”.
The device runs on Android 9.0, but Samsung has clearly placed the One UI software interface (version 1.1) on top of it. I really changed my mind about the OneUI interface. In general, the icons seem large (but this can easily be changed by changing the size of the grid) and the design and colors seem to have been chosen by a five-year-old child, but of course this is all subjective. There are a lot of things you can customize, including using gestures (although Samsung’s gestures boil down to a gesture where there used to be keys), and you get used to the rest.
There is no problem with the notch (given its size, the opposite would have been surprising) because Samsung adapted the notification menu so that the top of the device around the notch is always empty. For better or for worse, we found Bixby, Samsung’s assistant. You will find it very good and use it, or you will find it useless and not use it. At least there is no physical button to activate it.
Samsung Galaxy A50 Review: Finally, A Reasonable Samsung Mid Ranger
As always, Samsung pre-installs several applications (Email, Samsung Members, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Health, Smart Things…) as well as three Microsoft applications (Mobile Office, OneDrive, LinkedIn); and of course Facebook.
Under the hood is an Exynos 9610 processor, with a Mali-G72 GPU and 6GB of RAM. Of course, the experience is not perfect, but if you are looking for a very powerful smartphone for less than 350 euros, I advise you to choose a Pocophone F1.
It is good in terms of graphics, but the strange thing is that from time to time it slows down in the phone menus or when launching some applications. but in very difficult tasks it raises its head.
As you can see, the cheaper Redmi Note 7 even outperforms it in some benchmarks.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Review: Specs, Price & More
The sound reminds us that we have a mid-range smartphone here. If not bad, you shouldn’t rely too much on it to set the mood of a room because the sound from the speaker is not very convincing. The headphone jack (also usefully present) sounds better, but it won’t turn the heads of audiophiles. Again, because of the price, you have to accept these concessions.
When it comes to photography, Samsung has not done things in the middle with the presence of three photo sensors on the back. The Galaxy A50 has the famous magic trio wide angle (25 MP, f/1.7) + telephoto lens (5 MP, f/2.2) + ultra wide angle (8 MP, f2.4). As always with Samsung, progress has proven to be very fast.
We cannot say that this is a real revolution in the middle, or that it is the best camera phone in this category, but these are very good results for the market. However, we appreciate the presence of an ultra-wide-angle sensor, something that most of the competition does not offer at this price, and when the light is good the results are surprisingly positive. At night we lose a lot of quality, but not everything you shoot should also be thrown away.
