Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Deutsche Variante Hat Einen Nachteil

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is a relatively affordable Android phone that you can pick up if you can’t get the Samsung Galaxy S22 or Galaxy S21 or the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition in your region.

The lower price is due to a clear drop in the level of Samsung’s more expensive phones. We’ll go into more detail later in this Samsung Galaxy A51 review, but in short, the back is plastic instead of glass, the cameras aren’t as good (albeit five), the chipset is less powerful and extras like nice water resistance are missing.

The classic Samsung features you’ll find on the Galaxy A51 include a bright AMOLED screen and software that looks exactly like the Galaxy S21 series.

At US$399 / £329 / AU$599, the Samsung A51 looks like a real banger. However, there are more obvious performance issues here compared to alternatives like the Moto G8 Plus and Oppo Reno 2Z. Android is very slow. Parts of the camera app sometimes do this too. Thankfully, games aren’t as affected – PUBG fans, don’t worry

Also, don’t expect miracles from the camera. Like many quad-camera phones, this phone feels like a dual-lens phone with some half-baked apps, though its third macro camera is better than most in its class and offers a different way to take pictures.

Since we reviewed this device, Samsung has also launched a slightly modified version called the Galaxy A51 5G. We are yet to properly test this device, but the big difference is that it has a different chipset with added 5G connectivity.

Also, after the Galaxy A51, the company has released the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. In addition to having 5G, it has other upgrades such as a 120Hz screen, a larger 4500mAh battery, more megapixels on the main camera and a different chipset.

Of course, it also costs more, so the Samsung Galaxy A51 is still worth considering – it’s not one of Samsung’s best phones, but it’s still a solid choice.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5g Battery Test

The Samsung Galaxy A51 costs US$399 / £329 / AU$599, so it’s a pretty affordable phone, and it’s bundled with the OnePlus Nord for £379 (about US$480, AU$680) and the Moto G 5G Plus for £299. more competitive. . (About US$375, AU$535).

Other options include the US$429 / £419 / AU$719 iPhone SE (2022) and the US$349 / £349 / AU$599 Google Pixel 4a. v It is worth noting that the first three of them are 5G phones, while the last one and the Galaxy A51 are not

Well, not the model we reviewed, but Samsung has since released a 5G version for $500 / £429 (about AU$700). Although it is more expensive than the 4G version, it is not as expensive as the 5G phone.

Of course, the prices we’ve listed above are starting prices, but if you shop around, you’ll probably get the Samsung Galaxy A51 cheaper. At the time of writing, we saw it selling for US$290 / £230 / AU$390.

Samsung Galaxy A54 Review: User Interface, Performance

You can buy the Samsung Galaxy A51 in most countries where Samsung sells the phone, although the 5G version isn’t available in Australia. It’s interesting, and we don’t know if it’s a permanent condition or temporary.

If you have a little more to spend, you can also consider the new Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has some of the design features of Samsung’s high-end phones. But there are a few gifts that aren’t part of the expensive Galaxy S series.

The bezels on the display are slim and the front-facing camera sits in one of Samsung’s infinity holes. However, the back panel is plastic, not glass, and the front camera doesn’t blend into the front glass.

Of course, the front glass covers the selfie camera. But the bottom layers are much more reflective, so the Samsung A51 selfie camera stands out as a small unit.

The side buttons are also plastic. The result? The design of Samsung Galaxy A51 is closer to Motorola Moto G8 or Oppo A5 2020 than high-end Samsung.

However, it has a somewhat distinctive rear end. Like other recent A-series phones, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is finished with chiseled lines, a cut-out shape on the back, each with a slightly different look. The lower part has a strip of thin lines, for example, located under the upper layer of plastic.

It’s a relatively subtle look, but when the Samsung Galaxy A51 catches the light, you’ll see shimmering iridescent tones that blend into laser lines around the curved edges.

From a distance, it might look like an expensive Samsung, especially since the large quad-lens camera body on the back looks advanced. This phone is also a decent size, built for media and wider than the Galaxy S20.

Like most phones at this price point, the Samsung Galaxy A51 doesn’t have official water resistance. But it does have a 3.5mm headphone port, which is handy if you haven’t switched to Bluetooth headphones yet.

It also has an in-screen fingerprint scanner, which is another attempt to make the Samsung Galaxy A51 look like a premium phone. However, it is not a great scanner. It’s slower than most and won’t recognize fingers if they’re slightly wet, or if you’re not very careful with your thumb position.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400. It’s an instant win on paper, as many phones at this price point have LCD screens.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Review: Great Screen And Price, But The Rest Is Just Okay

OLED displays produce much deeper colors and always have better contrast than LCDs because they use light pixels instead of universal backlighting. However, it’s not one of Samsung’s best OLED panels and has a few brightness issues.

Less advanced OLED panels get a slight blue tint at an angle, usually when you turn the phone’s screen left or right. This is hardly a big problem, since we all look at our phones from the front, right?

But in Samsung A51 this effect is seen from other side. Hold it relaxed, tilted, and the top of the display will have that blue glow. It’s only noticeable when a large portion of the screen is white, such as on web pages, but it immediately shows that this isn’t one of Samsung’s best OLED displays.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 gets other benefits from the OLED display. Its optional bright screen mode looks very rich, and contrast in a dark room is significantly better than LCD phones for the price.

Screen brightness is also pretty good, if not in the same league as the Galaxy S20. Maximum brightness seems conservative for indoor use, but if you take it outside on a bright day, the Samsung Galaxy A51 kicks into gear outdoors. It also works with color and contrast to improve visibility in difficult conditions.

It’s not bright enough to comfortably watch movies in direct sunlight, but the interface and web pages look sharp enough.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is also certified for HD Netflix from launch, but does not support HDR video.

Despite the issues, it’s a good phone for video streaming, though the reflective (albeit small) punch-hole camera anywhere but indoors is doubly confusing.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Review: A Decent Mid Range Samsung Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy A51 has four cameras on the back. But when you first load the camera, you might be wondering what half of them do.

There is no zoom, which is a classic feature of a multi-camera setup where additional lenses are used to increase the number. We can’t entirely blame Samsung for this, as fitting a good zoom camera into a budget phone isn’t easy

You get a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a pair of 5-megapixel cameras used for close-up macro shots and depth shots with blurred backgrounds.

The filler is easy to spot: those two 5-megapixel cameras. But this case is much less obvious than, for example, what Oppo tried recently. Oppo A9 2020 has a pair of very useless 2MP cameras.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Review

The Samsung Galaxy A51’s 5MP macro camera won’t win you the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, but it’s fun to play with. You can get really close to your subject and shoot subjects that the main camera won’t even focus on. Its main problem, apart from acceptable image quality, is blur. A small handshake movement will ruin your photos if the light level is not good.

It’s still a useful macro camera and offers a different way to think about how you take photos Samsung
