But with input costs rising, Xiaomi will have to walk a tightrope to ensure the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G lives up to the value-for-money champion tag associated with the Note series. The first look at the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G makes you feel that it is a premium device. However, it follows the same design language as the other phones in the Note 11 series, and the Phantom White variant looks extremely premium to me. The back of the device has a flat panel and a rectangular camera setup. It has a frosted glass back with a matte finish, so it not only looks great, but also smudges very little. The device feels just the right size to hold in one hand and can be operated with one palm.

The back features a quad-camera setup inside a rectangular module. At the top of the module is the main lens, and at the bottom are the other three and the LED flash. When the phone is placed on a flat surface, the camera module protrudes and wobbles. The back also has the Redmi branding, but more subtle.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G has an IP53 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes. Xiaomi has added extra rubber insulation around the SIM slot to prevent water or dust from entering the slot. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, so you have less to worry about any accidents.
The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel on the front and a selfie camera in the center at the top. The screen has bezels, but they are practical and the chin is not too thick. The display and rear bezels are square and bold. The top edge of the device houses the speaker grille, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, and microphone, while the bottom houses another microphone, USB Type-C port, and SIM/MicroSD card tray.
The left edge is passive, while the right edge houses the power button along with the volume rockers and fingerprint sensor. The device is extremely slimmer, sleeker and easier to hold, making its design and build even more desirable. Overall, the device is easy to use and looks modern.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro has the same screen size as its predecessor. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s one of the few phones under 20,000 with an AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The display is beautiful and has good brightness (470 nits peak brightness) with sharp visuals, smooth animations and realistic image quality. The screen has an automatic brightness increase function when the phone is exposed to direct sunlight. Brightness in sunlight reaches 750 nits, so the screen is visible.
As mentioned above, the display has a Gorilla Glass 5 layer of protection, making it resistant to rough and tough use. The display panel is flat with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, DCI-P3 color space and HDR10 video support for OTT apps like Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, etc.
The high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling, whether you’re surfing the web, reading the news, checking social networking sites, or anything else.
Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G has a 5000 mAh battery, so the smartphone will last you all day and a busy day. This included features such as calling, messaging, browsing, using the camera and video streaming. The battery drains a bit faster during gaming, and if you play for a long time, you may need to charge the phone for a little more than a day.

The main 108MP camera delivers good performance. Photos taken in daylight are 12MP by default and are colorful, sharp and detailed. Surroundings are sharp and images look vibrant. The main sensor performs well even at night, with low noise and good brightness and contrast.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 Review: Gives You More For Less
When the 108MP mode is on, the pictures clicked are of very good quality, but they are large and need to be resized manually. Night mode is available for the main camera, and using it gives you more detail and less noise in your photos. It’s worth noting that shooting from the main sensor sometimes takes a few seconds longer.
As for the 8MP ultra-wide lens, it performs well in good lighting. The problem is that it struggles with exposure levels and detail, so ultra-wide cameras will need a lot of editing to bring their photos to life. I think other phones with ultra-wide cameras perform better than this one because they make more noise when you click the ultra-wide lens.
The 2MP macro lens is practically useless as it clicks very poor photos. It’s no match for the Note 10 Pro Max’s 5MP shooter. This 2MP lens is useless as it lacks detail, clarity or precision even in close-up shots. The 2MP depth sensor is also about average.
The 16-megapixel selfie camera delivers above-average performance with detailed, colorful and well-exposed clicks. Dynamic range is limited but works well.
Redmi Note 11 Review: A Worthy Successor Of The Redmi Note 10?
Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 processor and provides average performance for daily use. Whether you’re browsing Instagram or making WhatsApp video calls, everything is seamless. Apps load and open quickly, and multitasking is also smooth.
There was some lag and page crashes during my usage, but that only happened a few times. Even when gaming, the processor provides good performance, but with average graphics and frame rates. The thermal properties could be worked on though. The device has 8GB of RAM which along with the processor makes the phone run smoothly and the 128GB of internal memory is enough for important files, documents, audios, videos and more.
This smartphone runs Xiaomi MIUI 13 which is a better version than its predecessor. It is well optimized and comes with few bloatware. Third-party pre-installed apps can be removed if you don’t need them, and there are various customization and personalization options. The only downside is that it’s still running Android 11 and there’s no update on when or if Android 12 will be available.
In the audio department, the phone offers a dual speaker system and the audio output is good. The volume level could have been better, but the 3.5mm headphone jack gives the device some great points.
Xiaomi Redmi 11 Prime 5g Review
As the phone is only 4G, its network performance and call quality is decent, 5G is still far away in the country, 4G LTE works well.
Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G is priced under 20k in the Indian market. In 2022, you will be very hard pressed to find a phone in this price range without compromise in the country. Despite the lack of components and high prices, Xiaomi offers a respectable package with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G label. The phone has a stylish design, good screen, large battery and fast charging speed. The phone’s gaming and processor performance are just as impressive as its predecessors. Also, I hope Xiaomi releases the Android 12 update soon.
