MyBB, formerly MyBBoard and previously MyBulletinBoard, is a free open source code platform developed by the MyBB Group. Written in PHP, it supports MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite as database systems and additionally has support for database integration.

The post says that MyBB’s default JavaScript library will be changed to the more popular jQuery from the current model’s JavaScript Framework. Also announced was a new “trash” line delete feature that allows recovery of deleted posts in the admin control panel. It was also stated that instead of releasing an official anti-spam plugin as planned, called Spam Ninja, the MyBB team will add many new anti-spam features directly to the MyBB core.
