Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G, as the name suggests, is also 5G ready.
The 4820mAh battery performs well in terms of endurance and the display at 120Hz, auto brightness and 4-5 apps open at any time lasts a day in complete comfort. It has 33W fast charging which means it can go from fully discharged to 100% in around 58 minutes. With Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology, two paths are created for battery replacement, which reduces heat generated during the charging process. The Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G basically understands what’s on the screen at the time and adjusts the refresh rate accordingly—the maximum you’ve selected in the display settings. Basically, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G will drop the aspect ratio down to 30Hz for text-based content, for example. Video content is typically closer to 48Hz, and gaming can push the envelope up to 120Hz. The idea is to save battery life by dynamically changing the display refresh rate based on the content being used at the time. Reading emails or e-books at 120Hz is an unnecessary waste of battery.
From the looks of this display, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G’s IPS panel performs well on many fronts – brightness, viewing angles and color. One feels that the contrast could be better with some content, like when watching some videos or editing really colorful photos. But that’s a minor trade-off for a very consistent display. It will be a great canvas for managing emails, dealing with hyperactive WhatsApp groups and catching some live cricket while you get some work done. Flexibility is its strong point.

Last but not least, the party piece. The camera setup is handled by a 108-megapixel camera. It is joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The 108-megapixel snapper is the Samsung HM2 sensor, which features 9-in-1 pixel binning resulting in a massive 2.1-micron superpixel when you shoot in the default 12-megapixel mode. Our regular readers will probably be able to predict that my preference for really important photos would be the 108-megapixel model, as I like the extra detail the editing offers. Even in the standard mode that most users shoot by default, photos are very well detailed and crisp. The best detail can be seen throughout the photo, and this camera setup delivers just the right amount of color as well as sharpness. Playing with the deep blue of the sky or bringing out the green of the trees in the frame is not magic. Night mode photos are accurate and well-lit with single light sources without overexposure.At 108-megapixel mode, I noticed that the edges of the frame were a bit softer than I expected. However, on the plus side, the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G does not experience focus or focus lag. As a camera phone, the Mi 10i 5G delivers effortlessly.
