Update M31 Mobile Specification Review

Update M31 Mobile Specification Review – If you’re spending around Rs 15,000 on a phone, would you seriously consider a phone other than the Redmi Note or a similar Realme or Nokia device? It wasn’t that long ago that Samsung was the default choice here. And it’s not that Samsung doesn’t still make great phones, it’s just that budget phones haven’t been as exciting in recent years. At least not compared to the competition.

Does the Galaxy M31 make a difference? To answer this all-important question (for Samsung, if no one else), read on.

Samsung opted for glass on the back of the phone – a plastic that looks and feels like glass – which is smart because it gives the phone a premium finish while keeping the weight down. And weight could have been an issue, given that Samsung has packed a monster 6,000 mAh battery into this thing.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Review

And don’t let the “glass” fool you, it’s still plastic and prone to scratches, and it’s glossy, making the phone slippery in the grip, especially for people with buttery fingers like me. On the plus side, the phone doesn’t look cheap, unlike its predecessor.

The color option I’m using is Space Black, which to be honest is pretty dull for my taste. No slant, it’s simple. If you don’t want black, Ocean Blue is the only option.

Despite the glass, the phone is still a bit heavy at 191 grams, but you’ll have to live with that if you want that 6,000mAh battery.

A word of advice, buy a phone case because you will need one and Samsung doesn’t give you one.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Review: The Galaxy M30s With A Better Camera

The Galaxy M31 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with a teardrop notch at the top. The sides and chin of the phone are thin and it has curved edges, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.

The quad-camera setup, packed into a rectangular camera unit, isn’t unique either, as Samsung has made it a signature design element of its 2020 lineup. This can be seen on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus, as well as the Recently released Galaxy Lite. S phones.

You’ll see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a headphone jack, Type-C port and speaker grill on the bottom edge.

Starting with the 32 MP front camera, the phone takes very good pictures. In terms of detail and color, the phone lived up to my expectations. It won’t exaggerate colors, which a lot of phones do these days. When I use the portrait mode, or “direct focus” as Samsung calls it, it takes a few seconds to set the focus, but it’s worth it as it manages to deliver good results in terms of edge detection, sharpness and color. .

Moving on to the rear camera, which includes a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle camera, 5MP depth camera and 5MP macro camera, the photos clicked in bright daylight are quite impressive. However, in some cases the colors looked washed out. The detail and clarity was on point.

Ultra wide shots were also decent. In some cases, I felt that the images captured were much warmer than the actual scene, but at least the image wasn’t ugly or unrealistic.

I had high hopes for the camera as it took great shots in daylight, but failed at night. If you use the camera at night or even in low-light areas, you will only get blurry photos. There was no clarity and a lot of noise, I had to struggle to get a photo that didn’t look like I was running while taking the photo. And if you think night mode could help, you’re wrong. Other than brightening the images, it didn’t do much. I think it’s red if you shoot a lot in low light.

The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset, which is the same as its predecessor and the Galaxy A51. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 10 operating system and offers 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Camera Review: Impressive Mid Range Snapper

You get an app drawer and switching between apps was pretty smooth. I didn’t see any lag while using the phone. I played some videos, games and music and didn’t notice any lag or heating when I did. Clearly, the phone is perfect for everyday tasks.

Games are another matter. I played RoadRash on my phone and it didn’t run smoothly. I wish Samsung had bought a more powerful processor like the Snapdragon 730G chipset that the Poco X2 offers at, say, 15,999. The Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 Pro also have more powerful hardware at this price point.

The battery is one of the main features of the phone – 6000 mAh is simply amazing. I used the phone for a day and a half and even then it didn’t leak at all. One small (okay, not so small) compromise you have to make is in terms of charging time. A 15W charger will do. If you’re going to be out for a while, it’s best to go into zen mode while waiting for your phone to fully charge. On the plus side, once it’s charged, you don’t have to worry about long battery life.

However, the display and single speaker are very nice and I think this phone could be a great choice for those who just consume a lot of video. In fact, few phones offer an OLED screen at this price point, and if that’s important to you, the M31 is in the right place. Coupled with that massive battery, Netflix can be your thing all day long.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Android 12 Update Is Finally Here

There are few reasons to buy this phone, but honestly, they are good. The OLED display is fantastic, as is the battery life. Performance is adequate for day-to-day tasks, and since you don’t plan to play a lot of games, there’s no reason not to pick up this phone other than the camera performance.

However, the reasons not to buy this phone are equally compelling. Phones like Realme 6 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are more powerful, more exciting and offer better cameras. These phones also charge faster.

Back to my original question: Does the Galaxy M31 change anything for Samsung? I do not think.

After years of tough competition from Indian and Chinese rivals in the mid-range segment, Samsung finally decided to challenge them by launching the Galaxy M series. The company was quite successful with the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M30s and this year the South Korean smartphone giant followed up with the Galaxy M31.

Although it’s a slight upgrade from the Galaxy M30s, the Galaxy M31 offers a healthy mix of design, features, specs and cameras. It still has a large screen and a large capacity battery. It has a quad camera setup on the back and comes preloaded with Android 10. These upgrades are enough to make an otherwise good mid-range phone even better.

Update M31 Mobile Specification Review

The design of the Galaxy M31 is quite similar to that of its predecessor, the Galaxy M30s, with most changes on the inside. The phone still uses a plastic frame and a “glass” back. The phone’s 6.4-inch display is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch and scratch resistance. The phone weighs over 180 grams and is 8.9mm thick.
