The company has launched the Galaxy M31 in the country at a starting price of Rs 16,856. This company offers a good package at this price which definitely gives a tough competition to others. We got a chance to use the Samsung Galaxy M31 for a while and here is our full review
Samsung Galaxy M31 borrows its design from its predecessor – Galaxy M30. At first glance, it is very difficult to distinguish these two devices. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity U display surrounded by not-so-thin bezels on each side. This smartphone has smooth edges and rounded corners that make it easy to hold the device. In addition to the large display, it also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The right side is the volume keys and the power button, and the left side is the SIM card tray and the microSD card slot. The mono speaker, USB Type-C charging port and 3.5 mm audio jack are located at the bottom of the device. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a glossy back panel that attracts a lot of fingerprints. The rear panel includes quad camera setup, fingerprint sensor and Samsung brand. This smartphone is not impressive in the design department.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. In addition, the device also has an always-on display that shows the time, date and pending notifications. Despite being a budget smartphone, this smartphone offers a good display.
Samsung Galaxy M31 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 911 octa-core processor with 10nm technology. The company has not upgraded the smartphone in terms of processor like its predecessor – the Galaxy M30s also supports the same chipset. This smartphone has 6 GB of RAM and comes in two variants of 64 GB and 128 GB. Users can expand the storage up to 512 BG by adding a microSD card. Compared to the Galaxy M30, the Samsung Galaxy M31 has an increased RAM capacity that makes multitasking smoother. We didn’t experience any lag or shutter lag while using the phone. The device worked very smoothly and quickly when switching programs as well as during normal games. The fingerprint sensor on the back also works quickly when unlocking the device.
