We wanted to adapt a CPU that had a relatively newer architecture (but not the latest generation to save costs) and that wouldn’t throttle the GPU in any way. Speaking of the graphics card, it’s a low in 2022 to have a GPU powerful enough to push 60 frames per second in most AAA game titles at 1080p resolution and medium-high graphics settings. As for the motherboard, there were a lot of options, but we wanted one that could make the CPU perform to its full potential under sustained loads.

For the power supply we preferred at least a 450W power supply and an 80+ certification. Due to the limited budget, we have spent the minimum on the computer case, but we have made sure that you can get a case that offers good ventilation and a good selection of ports on the front panel. The Intel Core i5-11400F is perfect for the Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU we have chosen. It will not speed up the graphics card in any way. Furthermore, the Intel Core i5-11400F is powerful enough to run the heaviest games and daily tasks without any problems. It also comes with a CPU cooler that has pre-applied thermal paste so you don’t have to spend more.
We will invest most of the budget for this PC in GPUs. After all, the graphics card is what contributes the most to game performance.
