You’ll need a beefy theater or good headphones for this movie – because you’ll want to play it.

When it comes to female revenge movies masquerading as macho action flicks, they don’t come bigger, louder or funnier than Mad Max: Fury Road. There’s no real story, or even that much dialogue: it’s like a two-hour plane ride with a promise of redemption at the end.
The HDR effects range from subtle to eye-catching (especially when it comes to the “lightning guitar”) but as you’d expect they make for well-directed action scenes.
It doesn’t shine like some of the other movies here. But despite the muted color palette, the visuals are clean and the film stands out in 4K resolution in a way that most movies can’t. Throw in an unbearable bleakness and a great soundtrack and you have an instant home theater classic. In terms of visual storytelling, Dunkirkis is brand new.

Spider Man: No Way Home Swings Onto 4k Uhd And Blu Ray With Exclusive Artwork
If there’s one title that stands out above the rest of the 4K releases recently, it’s the BBC’s Planet Earth II. Shot mostly in 4K and packed with HDR effects, the latest installment in the series features all the stunning visuals you’d expect from the award-winning team behind Lifetime. And of course David Attenborough told it.
From the open air of swimming between mangroves to the fire pit of ants eating tadpoles, the cinematography can be quite interesting at times. If you want your TV powered to deliver color and detail, this is the disc.
This movie is well done in terms of visuals and story, Wonder Woman is the superhero movie that we must have on this list. Special effects are used subtly, at least until the end of the film, while HDR gives a real boost to scenes like Steve Trevor’s quest and the Lasso of Truth. Yes, some scenes suffer from film grain – including, surprisingly, the CGI opening sequence – but overall, this is one of the first stories you want in your collection.
There’s one thing the Mission Impossible franchise has been missing for years. And no, I don’t mean 4K HDR – Mission Impossible 1, 2 and Rogue Nation were released in 4K. The empty word is “fun,” and the message is impossible: Fallout is full of it.

Marvel movies may be a dime a dozen these days, but Black Panther is no cookie-cutter CGI-fest. He has something to say, and he does it in an interesting and interesting way. If there’s a disc that can make you shudder at how good 4K movies are, The Greatest Showmanis it. It offers amazing image quality and excellent HDR results. The story may be a little hokey but it’s forgotten as a way to deliver catchy songs. Only Hugh Jackman’s slinky form and slurring trans-Pacific voice detracts from the scene. And what a sight it is. Get rid of the lame story and the pointless heroes and see the eighth movie in the series for what it is: a popcorn movie with a great visual appeal. Like Blade Runner 2049, The Last Jedi relies on epic set pieces, including an armchair battle (which appears in HDR) and the final Crate Battle.
